"I needed a new chain for my 250 kawasaki ninja and asked the staff what their recommendation was, when I walked out the first time I had a non o-ring chain with a cliptype masterlink. I had trouble with installation and went to get a replacement master link and was told that I needed a rivet rather than clip masterlink, so that's the one I bought....only problem is that it was a o-ring link and didn't work with the chain, and yes I told them what chain I had. After I ran into the inevitable problems attempting to install that ML I went in to get the non o-ring ML. This time the manager was at the front desk and told me that I shouldn't run a non o-ring chain on my bike, which was one of the chains another employee recommended. So the manager said that he would talk to the person that would be working the next day and instruct them to refund me the chain and give me a discount on the chain I that I needed from the start, sounded good to me. I went in the next day and the person he specifically told me to talk to had not been informed of the situation and after a twenty minute conversation I finally got out of there with the chain I needed but wasn't given the discount I was promised. A total of four trips because each time I went in I was told something different, the chain is an important part of the bike and is basic maintenance and only one person seemed to know what he was talking about. That's a problem! I am no longer comfortable trusting their recommendations because I have serious doubts that they actually know what they are talking about."
